It’s the first Wednesday of the month and Alan Wyatt and Shawn Perkinson are playing at Barking Legs. Last month I posed that as a question; now it is a joyful fact. The return of the quartet was a celebration, and we had a great turnout in spite of a tornado watch. Let’s hope the skies are more inviting, ‘cause there’s enough thunder and lightning in the quartet’s playing. The Vanguard on Dodds Avenue has returned. We hope you’ve been vaccinated, we hope you’ll wear a mask if you’re more comfortable, but it’s time to give the new normal a go.
