The Legs Unveiled: An Open House

So what happened to those legs?

A vibrational shift occurred in how we adapt, create, and work at 1307 Dodds Avenue, forcing the legs that graced Barking Legs Theater to go underground for many months. They have now been transformed by artist Briah Gober, with the assistance of Leah Kaplan. At Barking Legs Open House, you will experience our legs reborn!

Open House @ Barking Legs not only includes the unveiling of our beautiful legs but also dance performances, special guest artists galore, and free refreshments. We also want you to meet our new Theater Manager, Charity Painter, too.

At the same time our legs have been in hibernation, Ann Law and a community of dancers (Kyle Dagnan, Cherokee Ellison, Monica Ellison, Jessi Faircloth, Kenneth Glatt, Beth Markham Herring and Kenny Keawekane) have continued to move, keeping the dust off the stage at Barking Legs. The art of making dances continues, and we would love to share them with you.

It will be a beautiful time (4:00 - 7:00 pm) so come join us. It’s been a while!
