Prakash Wright is a fantastic pianist who comes to us from DC by way of Sewanee. He plays in the tradition of the jazz piano trio, and he does so eloquently, swinging through standards, originals and surprising choices from the modern jazz Chick Corea, Bill Evans and others. Hearing him with the backing of David Schwab on bass and Jim Crumble on drums is a real treat.

And the admission is just $10 at the door, with tips for the band strongly encouraged.
