Matt Turnure is one of the area’s most imaginative drummers, and he pushes the musicians around him to meet him on that higher ground. Joining Matt will be Japheth Varlack on bass and Stephen Powers on guitar, plus a couple of “special guests.” It is always a real treat to hear where things head when he assumes the bandleader role, and we are happy to have him kick off what we assume to be our best season yet.
