Understanding the Creative Process to Empower Change and Growth

Artists of all disciplines are invited to engage in life-changing experiences and meaningful relationships during this five-day intensive, intended to support artists in their development as teaching artists. (Required for paid teaching artists positions through Full Circle TAP)

July 31 to August 4, 2017
10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
at Barking Legs Theater
Fee: $100 per artist

CoPAC founder and co-artistic director Ann Law created this five-day intensive to help you as an artist increase your arts education landscape. She has designed different approaches to engaging artists in the expansion of their passion, profession, and teachings. This intensive is designed to stimulate your creativity and imagination as you re-discover the power of your art form and how you see yourself in the world.

You will be exposed to a student-centered, inquiry-based, and cross-disciplinary approach to arts education. The offerings also include application of art criticism; understanding aesthetic education and arts integration; creating new frameworks of multicultural analysis; and utilization of many different assessments.

This summer intensive will support you in the desire to create positive learning environments for our community’s children through life-changing experiences and meaningful relationships. As artists, we value the relationship between arts, education and social growth, and we strongly believe that Full Circle TAP can be a highly active agent of positive change.
