“When I look back on what I’ve learned professionally, I think, how much better would I be, had I have had access to training sooner? I want to reach back and lift up the kid like me, and help them be brilliant.”
(dance) “Art is the very essence of life itself. Without it, what would we have? Art is creation.”
Chris Shaw is an actor, dancer/choreographer, and fitness model from Chattanooga, TN. Not coming from artistic roots, Chris still had an urge to entertain. Studying the greats, such as: Michael Jackson and James Brown, Chris knew at a young age that he wanted to be admired like they were.
Chris has spent the last 2 years, 2015-2017, as the resident hip instructor at the Creative Arts Guild in Dalton, Ga. He worked as an intern in Fall of 2016 as Social Media Documentarian. It wasn’t until his later years that he discovered a growing passion choreography. Chris would then focus his energy in learning all he could about the art form. Taking ballet, jazz, contemporary and modern dance lessons to strengthen his talents.
